In this video, I’m talking about Online Vs High Street Agents.
Welcome to the first video in this series, aimed for those of you that feel it’s time to start placing your property on the market. But before you jump on the phone to start booking appointments, there’s are few things you need to know and a few decisions you need to make.
The first one is if you’re going to be using an Online Agent, or a High Street Agent. Before I get started, please click on the link in the comments section to download your guide ‘Should I use an Online Agent or High Street Agent?”.
I’ll start off by saying there’s no right or wrong answer to this. It’s just what’s right and wrong for you and the guide will raise some important points for you.
What I would say is that it is important that you sell your home for as much as possible. So if you own a standard home, in decent condition, and hoping to achieve the average price, and you’re confident generic, vanilla marketing is going to get you the same price as anyone who offers extra, an online agent is probably going to be fine. Why not save yourself some money, even if you have to take up some additional services, which bumps up the cost.
If however, you think you the condition or location of your home means that you could hit and even exceed the current ceiling price, then click here, to take you to the next video where I talk about how a true local property expert, will be able to help you maximize the value of your home.
